Fresh water stripers are a tough fish to catch- moving around a lot; sometimes on the surface and obvious, other times deep, sulky, and invisible. Henry Cowen has spent a guiding career figuring these fish out, and was able to show me the fish when the conditions were tough. I am impressed. Henry Cowen is certainly one of the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic fly and light tackle fishermen I've ever met. Each day with Henry is a fishing lesson/tutorial/adventure and always a pleasure.
